Katie Malague
Senior Program Manager
Katie Malague is a senior program manager with the Partnership for Public Service. In this role, Katie coordinates the Presidential Management Initiative, focusing on the upcoming presidential transition, federal government reform, and management priorities for the next administration and Congress. During her years as a program manager with the Partnership, Katie coordinated consulting projects with federal agencies on issues including strategic planning, recruitment, and hiring.
Prior to joining the Partnership, Katie was a regional director for Governor Howard Dean's presidential campaign, managing local field operations and voter outreach. She previously served as a manager in the federal government practice of Accenture, a global management consulting company. In this capacity, she specialized in organizational and employee performance, supporting clients through facilitation, training program design and development, and project management.
Earlier in her career, Katie worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg (NJ), where she focused on issues of education, employment, and welfare. Her government experience also includes a brief stint as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Katie is a graduate of Bucknell University, where she serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors, and Harvard University.
