Daniel Pons
Program Associate
Daniel Pons joined the Partnership in September 2009 as a Program Associate for the Government Transformation team. Through his work, he aims to strengthen leadership, reform management, and drive innovation within the federal government. Dan is currently designing a leadership development program for the Senior Executive Service as well as serving as a Project Consultant on the Excellence in Government Fellows program.
Prior to joining the Partnership, Dan worked as a consultant with the UNC Public Policy Clinic developing strategies to increase Latino use of the Durham County Public Library. He also interned at the Corporate Council on Africa in Washington, D.C., where he conducted research on the governmental structure of Sudan in the aftermath of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement of 2005, as well as published an article on the effects of U.S. divestiture policy from Sudan at the state level.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Dan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009 with academic distinction in Political Science and Public Policy Analysis. He studied abroad for a semester at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.
