Erin was born, raised, and currently resides in Howard County, Maryland. She was also a founding member of the Bilkent Goats, the best (of two) Ultimate Frisbee team in Turkey. Between Turkey and the Partnership, Erin interned at the Maryland Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection, in their investigation division.

Erin graduated cum laude from Amherst College in 2008 with a degree in Economics. While at school, she was a captain of the Ultimate Frisbee Team as well as involved in a student-run non-profit called Educate!. Educate! raises money to provide scholarships to high school for refugees in Uganda and now provides leadership and social action education and support to high school students in Uganda. Erin spent a semester of college in Prague, Czech Republic studying post-Soviet Economics and European integration. While in Prague, she taught volunteer English classes to a civic organization that works to fight corruption. Her time at Amherst culminated in an Economics honors thesis about incentives and corruption in Soviet and post-Soviet economies. Erin is very interested in issues of governance both domestically and internationally and is very excited to be at the Partnership.

The Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to revitalize our federal government by inspiring a new generation to serve and by transforming the way government works.
