PARTNERSHIP FOR PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCES 2008 SERVICE TO AMERICA MEDAL FINALISTS ON JUNE 18, AT CAPITOL HILL CEREMONY

Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, January 17th, the Partnership for Public Service will hold a news conference with IBM to launch FedExperience Transitions to Government -- a “golden” opportunity for business leaders and tech-savvy baby boomers looking for encore careers where they can make a difference. This new program is part of the Partnership’s FedExperience initiative, which will tap into the baby boomer talent pool to help address the more than 500,000 government positions that will become vacant in the next five years.
