MAX STIER STATEMENT ON NANCY KILLEFER
WASHINGTON –Partnership for Public Service President and CEO Max Stier released the following statement today in response to the announcement that Nancy Killefer, President Obama’s choice for chief performance officer, is withdrawing her name from consideration:
“While I do not know the details that led to today’s announcement, Nancy Killefer would have been an outstanding chief performance officer, and her withdrawal is the nation’s loss. This job is a critical one, and I hope the Obama administration will move quickly to fill it.”
