WASHINGTON – Partnership for Public Service President and CEO Max Stier released the following statement today on President Obama’s appointment of John Berry to serve as Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
“To execute its agenda, the Obama administration needs an effective federal workforce, and building, maintaining, and measuring the success of that workforce is incumbent upon the Office of Personnel Management. John Berry’s reputation as a high-energy leader with a strong background in workforce issues suggests he will emerge as a key player in the effort to improve government performance.
