For today's students, employment is more than just a paycheck. It's a chance to make a real difference.
Many already know that public service is a great opportunity to accomplish that goal, yet they have limited awareness and understanding of government jobs and internships. The Call to Serve initiative is designed to bridge the knowledge gap for students and their advisors.
Participating schools have signed a “Statement of Purpose” that commits them to educating their students about opportunities in the federal civil service. These schools:
Participating Call to Serve federal agencies communicate with the campus coordinators in our network to provide guidance on how students can find information about and pursue jobs in federal service.
The Partnership offers support to school coordinators in creating events, identifying speakers, gathering materials and providing other assistance throughout the year.
Call to Serve Events
The Partnership provides professional development for university advisors around federal opportunities through onsite training and virtual webinar conference calls. These trainings equip you with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively advise students on the federal job search and application process and build federal service as a brand on your campus.
Call to Serve eNews
